Red Devil: Free Crochet Pattern

Click to see this pattern in Dutch (Nederlands)

Hi there! First of all I want to say: sorry for the delay!! When I put up the pattern in Dutch, I promised it would only be hours before I would upload this one.. That was five days ago, sorry! Anyway, here we go.

A little while back, I got a request to crochet a little devil as a present for someone. I didn’t have a lot of time, so I surfed the internet for a pattern. Unfortunately, I did not find anything that spoke to me. No problem, I decided to put one together myself. It would take more time, but I could do it. And in the end, I’m very happy with the result!

This small, red devil is about 9.5 cm (3.7 inches) tall, including the horns, and 7 or 8 cm (2.8 or 3.1 inches) wide. He looks like he is up to no good, but don’t worry, he is harmless 🙂 I hope you have fun making your own little devil! If you have any questions, you can always ask me.

Finishing touches:
The face:
1: Position the eyes (R9, 10 stitches apart)
2: Embroider the eyebrows
3: Embroider the mouth
And now, the teeth (this is optional)
Cut out two very small triangles of the white felt. Carefully place a little bit of fabric glue on the corners of the mouth. Do not place the glue on the small teeth. The pieces of felt are very small and will start to fray very easily. So it’s best to put the glue on the mouth and then carefully place the teeth on there.
All that is left to do now, is sew everything together and your little devil is all done!
